Get help with Kampa

Email us, or try the quick checks below first. Not medical advice.

Kampa is built by a small team, and support email reaches us directly - not a queue.

Emailing us

Tell us what happened in your own words. That is genuinely enough to start - you don't need to diagnose it for us.

If you can, include the details block from inside the app: open Settings → Contact support, then tap Copy details or Share details. It records which version you're running, whether a Watch is paired, and how much data you have.

The details block contains no health information - no tremor readings, no doses, no symptoms. Only counts, dates, and version numbers. You can read the whole thing on screen before you send it.

We aim to reply within two working days.

Kampa won't open

If the app closes the moment you tap it, or never gets past its first screen, you can't reach anything inside it - including the support screen. Here is what to do, in order.

1. Force-quit and reopen

2. Send us the crash log - this is the useful one

Your iPhone already recorded what happened. The file is the single most useful thing you can send us, and it contains no health data.

  1. Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Analytics Data.
  2. The list is long and alphabetical. Scroll to any file whose name starts with Kampa, and pick the most recent one - the date is at the end of the filename.
  3. Tap it, then tap the share button at the top right, and email it to support@kampa.health.
  4. Tell us roughly when it last worked, if you know. One sentence is plenty.

3. Turn on analytics sharing, so this reaches us automatically next time

In that same Analytics & Improvements screen, switch on Share iPhone Analytics and Share with App Developers. That sends Apple crash reports to us, with no personal or health information attached - it is what lets us see a problem without anyone having to write in. It is off by default, which is why so few crashes ever reach a developer.

4. Delete and reinstall - last resort

Read this before you delete. Reinstalling restores your record from iCloud, so your history comes back only if your iCloud account has space and your data finished backing up. If iCloud is full, deleting the app can lose data. Email us first if you're unsure - we would rather look at the crash log than have you risk it.

Worth checking first

Three things account for most of what people write in about.

The Watch isn't sending data

Health data looks missing

Insights haven't appeared

The setup guide walks through each step with a short video. The FAQ covers how the tremor chart and Insights work, privacy, and cost.

One thing we can't help with

Kampa is a wellness tool, not a medical device. It doesn't diagnose or treat any condition, and it never tells you to change your medication. For anything about your treatment, talk to your doctor or neurologist.
