Guide

How do I track a levodopa infusion pump like Vyalev?

Add your medication in Kampa as a pump, then log when it goes on or off, rate changes and extra doses. Kampa shows the hours spent on each setting, the extra doses per day, and how your tremor compares within each setting. It keeps a record only - it never connects to or changes your pump.

Kampa's Review screen for one day: a tremor chart with medication, food, pump and extra-dose marks, above a card reading Vyalev pump today - Base 0.50 for 9 h 47 m from 12:00 PM, and 1 extra dose at 4:15 PM (0.3 mL)

Setting it up

  1. Add the medication and choose Pump instead of Doses.
  2. Enter your prescribed rate.
  3. Log On and Off at the time they happened - backdating is fine, since the pump gives no warning when it stops.
  4. Log an extra dose with one tap, in mL.

What you see

What it will not do

Kampa never connects to the pump, never changes a setting and never suggests one. Rate decisions belong to you and your neurologist - Kampa gives you a record to bring to that conversation.
